Step 2: Use the Extract Data Connector

Instead of using the regular GA4 property to access your data, switch to the Extract Data connector. This will allow you to query the data in a way that doesn't hit the same API limits as the regular GA4 property.

Step 3: Add the Dimensions and Metrics You Need for your report

In your report, add the data fields you need, such as the date, event name, and event count. You can customize this based on your specific needs.

Step 4: Set the Date Range

Make sure to capture the full date range for your Google Analytics instance. To do this, use the advanced date range setting and go back to the first date you started tracking data in GA4 as the start date. For the end date, set it as today minus zero days and click apply.

Step 5: Enable Auto Update

To ensure your data stays up to date, enable the auto-update settings and set it to a time that works best for you. For example, you could set it to 6:00 AM CST and repeat daily.

Step 6: Save and Extract Your Data

Click on "Save and Extract" to save your settings and extract your data. This may take a few minutes, depending on the amount of data you're working with.

Step 7: Use the Extracted Data Source

Once your data has been extracted, you can access it using the extracted data source. This will ensure you don't hit the same API limits and can access your data more efficiently.

By following these steps, you can avoid hitting API limits in Google Analytics 4 and use the data you need for your reports without limits.
